Due to difficulties maintaining my list of women who served as nurses during the Civil War, I have decided to create a new page containing resources and tips on how to uncover information pertaining to these women. I receive several emails each week from vistors to my site, asking if I have any documentation regarding an ancestor of theirs. I thought it would be a good idea to make this information available to the general public. I have listed below some of the sources I have found to be most useful.
